How to Enable and Disable Windows 10 Remote Mouse

Dubbed 'MouseTrap,' six vulnerabilities in Remote Mouse could potentially allow hackers to execute code remotely without user interaction. These flaws arise from the use of authentication with a password hash that can be intercepted and cracked using a rainbow table, as well as the absence of encryption and cryptographic nonces in communications.

Despite these concerns, users may still want to enable or disable Remote Mouse on their Windows 10 devices. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Access the Settings app on your Windows 10 device.

2. Click on the 'Devices' tab.

3. Scroll down to the 'Mouse' section and click on it.

4. Toggle the 'Mouse Keys On/Off' switch to disable Remote Mouse.

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcuts to toggle Remote Mouse on or off:
